Welcome to SBPT

Strathclyde Building Preservation Trust is a Charitable Company Taking Action to Conserve Scotland’s Built Heritage.
We aim to provide sensible solutions to the problems of historic buildings at risk. By consulting widely, applying professional project management techniques, high quality design, sustainable methods, conservative restoration and a touch of ingenuity we will contribute to the conservation of Scotland's built heritage.

The key to achieving our aims will be to take on historic buildings at risk of decay, dereliction or complete loss. By using our own resources and harnessing the commitment of others we will undertake restoration projects to return them to use. The benefits of such projects are not limited to the preservation of the built heritage but can promote economic regeneration and provide other benefits to the communities in which the buildings stand.
